Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Data Science

Mathematics, computer science, and data science — problem-solving, computing, and analytics in one department.

The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Data Science prepares students for careers in technology, analytics, teaching, actuarial work, and research. Classes are small and faculty-mentored in the Dolan Science Center, with internships across Cleveland.

Majors: Mathematics, Computer Science, and Data Science (all B.S.). Minors: Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, and Statistics & Analytics.

John Carroll also hosts the American Mathematics Competitions for K-12 students.
